Welcome The first winery in the Great Karoo Situated in the exquisite Prince Albert Valley just outside the village of Prince Albert , the Bergwater Farms comprise 3 farms totaling 1500 hectares of which 70 hectares of vineyards is established, the remainder of the land utilized as a nature reserveDuring 2002 the official status "Wine of Origin Prince Albert Valley" was announced by the Wine and Spirits Board. The wines are bottled under the Bergwater VIneyards label and trademark. Our wines have won various medals and awards and were also served in the Business Class of KLM Royal Dutch Airines.
